How the handover works at Part-Dieu
When you book, choose Lyon Part-Dieu station as the handover point, then a time that leaves a little margin after your train arrives. Once your request is approved, our team confirms the meeting.
On site, the handover takes about five minutes: we check your original driving licence and ID, complete a digital inspection, you sign the contract and we take the card pre-authorisation for the deposit. Then the keys are yours. On the way back, same station, same routine: the car is returned where it was handed over.
Handovers and returns take place from 9am to 8pm, Sunday to Friday; the agency is closed on Saturdays. For a weekend, the simplest plan is a Friday pick-up and a Sunday return.
What delivery costs
Part-Dieu is a fixed point: the delivery and collection price appears in the summary as soon as you select it, before you send your request. It comes on top of the rental price, which depends on the car, the season and the day of the week.

|---|---|---|---|
| Mercedes-Benz CLA AMG | Electric | 5 | €160 |

| Porsche Taycan S | Electric | 4 | €299 |

Weekends: +35% on most cars, +20% for the G 63, +47.5% for the M235i; surcharges add up. For any rental of 3 days or more, please contact us for a personalised rate.
Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport: on quote
Corsiva has no desk at Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport, but the car can be brought to you there. The price depends on distance: add the airport to your request and our team works out the price and confirms it before anything is approved. The same goes for a hotel on the Presqu'île, an office near Part-Dieu or the Cité Internationale, or a private address in the western suburbs.
Our page luxury car rental at the airport covers every airport we serve.
Rather not drive?
After a long flight, a chauffeur is often the better option. A driver can meet you at Lyon Saint-Exupéry and take you to your hotel, your meetings or straight up to the mountains, on quote. See our Lyon airport transfer, our private chauffeur in Lyon by the hour or the day, and the transfer from Lyon to Courchevel.
Which car when you step off the train
With suitcases, think about the boot first. The G 63 AMG and the Porsche Cayenne Coupé both seat five and have room for luggage. For two people who want to drive, the BMW M3 Competition or the Porsche Taycan S. For a business meeting on a sensible budget, the Mercedes-Benz CLA AMG, electric and discreet. Our article sports car rental in Lyon compares the sporty ones.
Heading on to the Alps? Direct regional trains link Lyon Part-Dieu with Chambéry, where pick-up is free, at the agency or the station. By road, Chambéry is about 1 hr 23 min from Lyon.
Before you arrive
You book online with no payment upfront, uploading your driving licence and ID. A licence issued in the European Union, the EEA or Switzerland is enough on its own; with any other licence, UK licences included, we also ask for an International Driving Permit, shown in original at handover. For ID, an ID card (both sides) or a passport. Details in our article on renting with a foreign driving licence.
Bring a bank card for the deposit pre-authorisation. Once your file is approved, you pay the 30% down payment by secure link; cancellation is free up to 7 days before pick-up. Tolls are never included, and from November to March winter equipment comes at no extra cost.
