What is a car concierge service?
A car concierge service takes your car under management and rents it out for you. At Corsiva, the team finds and vets the clients, insures the car, prepares and maintains it, handles handovers and returns, and pays you 70% of the rental income. You keep the car and your time slots, with no commitment.
Who drives my car?
Vetted clients: driving licence, ID and supporting documents are checked before any keys are handed over, and a deposit is taken by card pre-authorisation. For weddings and events, a Corsiva chauffeur takes the wheel.
What happens if the car is damaged?
The car is covered by suitable insurance (AXA, Allianz, Groupama). For at-fault damage, the repairs or the excess are paid by the renter, based on the photo and video record made before and after each rental.
Can I still use my car?
Yes. You set the slots when it is available and the periods when it is not, and you can change them or pause the rentals at any time, with simple notice.
How am I paid?
70% of the rental income is paid to you; 30% covers Corsiva's management. Every rental and every payment appears in your owner area.
How much does the car concierge service cost?
Corsiva is paid through a 30% management commission on the rental income; the remaining 70% is paid to you. The services included and your settings are set out in the contract, at the meeting.
Where is my car kept?
Your choice: it stays at your home and we collect it for each rental, or we keep it in our secure garages, prepared and ready to go.
How does joining the concierge service work?
In four steps: an assessment meeting at your home (condition report, history, expectations and limits), the contract and your settings (time slots, blocked periods, income simulation, included services), a professional photo shoot at our garages or at your home, then the launch with a dedicated account manager.
Is my identity shared with clients?
No. Your identity is never shared with clients: Corsiva handles the entire commercial relationship.
Are the simulator figures guaranteed?
No. They are indicative, non-binding estimates, based on base low-season rates. The actual result depends on the occupancy rate and your availability; a personalised simulation is presented to you at our meeting.
Is rental income taxable?
In principle, yes: according to the French tax authority (impots.gouv.fr), income from renting out a car is taxed as industrial and commercial profits (BIC) from the first euro. How it is treated depends on your situation: your accountant is the right person to ask.
Which towns do you cover?
Our garages are in Chambéry. We manage cars in Chambéry, Aix-les-Bains, Annecy, Lyon, Grenoble, Megève, Courchevel, Chamonix and the surrounding area: the car stays at your home and we collect it for each rental, or it joins our garages. The arrangements are agreed at our meeting.
Can my car be rented with a chauffeur only?
Yes. You can keep it for chauffeur-driven work: film shoots, hotels, airport transfers, day hire, weddings. A Corsiva chauffeur then takes the wheel; it is never handed over to a client.
How is this different from Getaround or Turo?
On a peer-to-peer platform, you find renters, but you usually manage the car yourself: key handovers, cleaning, maintenance. With the Corsiva car concierge service, the car is run within our fleet and we take care of everything.
Can I buy a car to place with the concierge service?
Yes. Corsiva Prime finds and imports your new car, bought from an official dealership, and it joins the concierge service on delivery. Its rental share can cover all or part of its costs, depending on the model and your availability; no income is guaranteed, and this is not investment advice.
Can we meet?
