With its 585 hp twin-turbo V8 and permanent four-wheel drive, the Mercedes G 63 AMG 2025 is our go-to car for the mountains, as capable on snow as it is striking outside a palace hotel, with room for skis and large suitcases. For excursions beyond the 3 Vallées, add a 100 km pack (€180) or a 250 km pack (€425) to the 200 km included each day.
The hybrid Porsche Cayenne Coupé (462 hp, all-wheel drive) is the family choice: five seats, the fifth smaller, and a generous boot. The Porsche Taycan and the BMW M3 Competition, also winter-equipped, are best kept for clear roads and the valleys.
Winter tyres, chains and the road up
From 1 November to 31 March, the French Mountain Law (Loi Montagne II) requires winter tyres, or snow chains or socks carried on board, in municipalities classified as mountain areas, which covers much of Savoie. Every Corsiva car leaves winter-equipped during that period, at no extra cost.

The final climb from Moûtiers is a mountain road, closely watched in winter but slow after heavy snowfall or on busy changeover days. Check conditions before setting off and, if in doubt during your rental, call us.
Delivery to your chalet or hotel
We deliver the car to your chalet, hotel or residence in Courchevel 1850, Courchevel Moriond (formerly 1650), Courchevel Village (formerly 1550) and Courchevel Le Praz, as well as Méribel and the rest of the 3 Vallées.
For delivery and collection in Courchevel, the price is shown when you book. Straight to your chalet or hotel, the rate is based on distance and confirmed by our team before anything is booked. The car arrives winter-ready, fully fuelled or charged; the handover takes about five minutes, with a digital condition report and contract signed on the spot. At the end of your stay, we collect it from your address.
Saturday changeovers
Many chalet weeks run from Saturday to Saturday, but our handovers take place from 9am to 8pm, Sunday to Friday; the agency is closed on Saturdays. Plan the delivery for the Friday or the Sunday. A rental that covers a weekend lasts at least two days.
Self-drive or with a chauffeur
Driving yourself is the most flexible option. But after a long flight or before an evening out, a car with a chauffeur is available on request, by the trip or by the day:
- Airport transfers from Geneva, Lyon Saint-Exupéry and Chambéry to your chalet, skis and luggage taken care of. For Geneva, the international cover option applies (€20 a day, subject to approval).
- Journeys around the resort and evenings out, with the chauffeur at your disposal.
- Price: €400 a day on top of the car rental; travel costs are quoted case by case, and tolls are never included.
